5 two-storey live/work and 4 commercial spaces development
This project originated from the acquisition of two separate sites, which presented a significant level difference of more than 3.0 metres.
The final design response carefully addressed this change in elevation, creating a split-level mixed-use development with two-storey live/work units on one side and four commercial units featuring bespoke fit-outs on the other.
An internal 3.0 metre-high retaining wall meant the construction methodology and sequencing needed to be carefully planned. Working alongside the structural engineer, WSC developed a build strategy that streamlined sequencing and reduced the overall construction timeframe.
With the main structure now complete, the team are progressing with timber framing for the apartment components. Throughout the project, strong emphasis has been placed on build ability, programme management, quality workmanship, and maintaining high health and safety standards.
Clear communication and disciplined coordination continue to drive steady progress on site as the development moves toward completion.
